The Fox and the Bear

We spent the morning photographing this red fox. It was busy clamming on the tidal flats, as seen by the dark spots in the mud in this photo. After some time this young brown bear came out of the woods, apparently in a very playful mood. It chased the fox around in circles for a few seconds but the fox was having none of it. They ended up in this priceless staring contest before the fox got tired of the bear and moved off to another part of the bay.
