Although the puffins on Gull Island were in a less than ideal location we ended up finding a few Tufted Puffins and Horned Puffins floating out in the bay. This was some of the hardest photography I've done in a while. The waves were rocking our tiny boat which made handholding a large telephoto lens rather difficult. Both the Tufted and Horned Puffins were new species for me so i was ecstatic!
