This was the image that I came here for. About 45 minutes after sunrise, the weather that was developing around the mountains rapidly transformed into really dramatic stormy skies. The sky was still clear to the east, allowing light to strike only the golden aspen trees that line the snake river. I really don't think I could have asked for better conditions than this.
