Box Canyon Falls
Box Canyon Falls - Ouray, Colorado
Box Canyon Falls was formed when the waters of Canyon Creek, eroded a deep narrow canyon through the fault weakened limestone. Water falls 80 feet to the canyon bottom. Box Canyon falls is also an important area for bird watching, as it is one of the few places in Colorado to view nesting black swifts.
