Willow Flats - Grand Teton National Park - Wyoming
Long morning shadows stretch across willow flats below the mighty Teton Range. It's autumn in the Tetons and life is in a flurry of activity. The haunting sounds of bugling elk resonate through the valley. Trees are quickly changing colors. The willows have gone from vibrant shades of green to warm autumn reds and oranges. The jagged peaks of the Tetons will soon be coated in their first dusting of snow. Bears are foraging for food, getting ready for their long winters nap. In the blink of an eye this will be a quiet and frozen world, largely dormant for the winter months. Autumn comes and goes quickly in this part of the world, but for these few brief weeks, nature is at its most grand.
