Shake
American River Otters (Lontra canadensis) Yellowstone National Park Wyoming
River otters, a semi aquatic mammal, make their homes along waterways and coasts. This particular otter, in Yellowstone, shakes the water off of his thick water-repellent coat of fur. Otters are notorious for their playful nature, which makes them a perfect subject to photograph.
