Red Fox - (Vulpes vulpes) - Breckenridge, Colorado
While the female of this family group was out hunting, the adult male red fox sits atop a large boulder keeping a watchful eye on his young kits playing in the grass below. Usually, red foxes will form monogamous pairs for the winter, working together to raise their young pups.
